Custom ready-to-finish fire pit

Engineered & fabricated in California

A customer called with a fire pit that had seen better days — inconsistent flames, rusted components, and a burner that never worked right. We engineered a replacement from scratch: a Cooke-spec 3/4" schedule 40 304 stainless burner, hand-welded in our California shop, and dropped into a ready-to-finish base matched to their existing landscape.

The result: clean lines, even flame dispersion, and a fire pit that looks like it was planned with the yard from day one.

Linear Fire Pit with Custom Glass Wind Guards

Residential backyard · Southern California

A narrow linear fire feature sited between outdoor seating — the client needed wind protection that wouldn't interrupt the sight lines or the architectural intent of the space.

We fabricated tempered glass wind guards with custom brass corner hardware, sized to match the fire pit's exact footprint. The result is a clean rectangular glow frame that looks intentional, not retrofitted.

How long does a custom fire pit build take?

Typical lead time is 4–6 weeks from design approval to delivery. Complex projects with custom finishes or integrated seating can take 6–8 weeks. We'll confirm the exact timeline with your quote.

What deposit do you require?

We require a 50% deposit at design approval to begin fabrication. The remaining balance is due before shipping or install. We accept major credit cards, ACH, and financing through Shop Pay Installments.

Do you deliver outside Southern California?

Yes — we ship nationwide via freight carrier with full insurance. Free white glove delivery and installation is included for all orders within Southern California (roughly San Diego to Santa Barbara, Orange County, Inland Empire).

For out-of-state customers, we coordinate freight scheduling and provide detailed install guidance.

What warranty comes with a custom fire pit?

All custom builds include:

• Lifetime warranty on Cooke-spec stainless burners
• 5-year warranty on structural steel and powder coating
• 1-year warranty on ignition systems and electronic components

Can I bring my own design or inspiration?

Absolutely — and we encourage it. Send sketches, Pinterest boards, architect drawings, CAD files, or photos of what you love. Our engineering team will translate your vision into buildable specs.

What fuel types do you build for?

All of them: natural gas, propane, wood burning, and bio-ethanol. Each has tradeoffs in flame character, fuel cost, and installation requirements. We'll walk you through the options during your consultation.

Do you build outdoor kitchens and other custom features?

Yes. Beyond fire pits, we build custom outdoor kitchens, BBQ islands, pizza oven surrounds, glass wind guards, fire features, and integrated fire & water combinations.

Is a site visit included?

For projects within Southern California, we offer complimentary on-site consultations for orders over $5,000. For smaller projects, a virtual consultation via video call works just as well.
