Fire Magic Replacement Cooking Grids – Diamond Sear, Stainless Steel & Porcelain Steel Rod
- Free shipping on orders over $400*
Upgrade or replace the cooking grids on compatible Fire Magic grills with genuine Fire Magic replacement cooking grid sets. This combined Shopify listing offers four configurations, including premium Diamond Sear stainless steel grids, traditional stainless steel rod grids, and porcelain-coated steel rod grids.
Fire Magic identifies these cooking grids by size code. Models 3543-DS-3 and 3538-2 use Size Code R, while 3537-S-2 and 3537-2 use Size Code D. Fire Magic's published price lists specifically identify these four models as cooking-grid options.
Choose 3543-DS-3 Diamond Sear for Fire Magic's premium stainless steel cooking-grid design, or select the appropriate rod-style grid for the grill being serviced. The 3538-2 provides porcelain-coated steel rods in Size Code R, while 3537-S-2 provides stainless steel rods and 3537-2 provides porcelain-coated steel rods in Size Code D.
Because these options use different Fire Magic size codes, they are not universally interchangeable. Compatibility should be verified by the grill model and required size code before ordering. Fire Magic's own parts documentation, for example, identifies 3537-S-2 as the stainless steel cooking grid for compatible Deluxe models.

The Fire Magic documentation groups these models as follows: 3543-DS-3 Diamond Sear / R, 3538-2 Porcelain Steel Rod / R, 3537-S-2 Stainless Steel Rod / D, and 3537-2 Porcelain Steel Rod / D.
Important Compatibility Note
These four variants should not be presented as four materials that necessarily fit the exact same grill.
Fire Magic uses two different size codes:
Size Code |
Available Grid Types |
|---|---|
| R | 3543-DS-3 Diamond Sear; 3538-2 Porcelain Steel Rod |
| D | 3537-S-2 Stainless Steel Rod; 3537-2 Porcelain Steel Rod |
Therefore, the customer's grill model must match the selected cooking-grid size.
Important Outdoor Home Store SKU Note
The Outdoor Home Store URL you provided currently displays a product titled for Aurora A540i & Choice C540i and shows article number 23543-DS-3, not 3543-DS-3. It describes that item as a three-grid Diamond Sear set with each grid measuring 17-3/4" x 10-1/4".
That appears to be a different/current gas-grill replacement grid SKU from the 3543-DS-3 Size Code R charcoal/Legacy cooking-grid option in Fire Magic's price documentation. I would therefore not copy the A540i/C540i compatibility or 23543-DS-3 dimensions into this combined 3543/3538/3537 listing.
