Automatic Cookware Recognition

The EL-3285 automatically recognizes compatible pan size and type, helping the induction system efficiently transfer energy directly to suitable cookware rather than heating the surrounding cooking surface like a conventional electric element. Fire Magic specifically lists automatic recognition of pan size and type among the EL-3285's primary features. 

Important: Induction-compatible cookware is required. Typically, the cookware must have a magnetic base suitable for induction cooking.

Included Stainless Steel Cover

A removable stainless steel cover is included with the EL-3285. It protects the tempered-glass cooktop when the appliance is not being used and helps the induction cooker integrate cleanly with a stainless-steel outdoor kitchen. 

Important Temperature Specification Note

There is a small discrepancy within Fire Magic's current literature.

The current individual EL-3285 product page states:

120°F–450°F 

The dedicated induction cooktop sales sheet and current catalog describe the range as:

150°F–450°F 

For Shopify, I recommend avoiding the lower temperature figure in the SEO title and meta description. If a range is required in the specification table, 120°F–450°F follows Fire Magic's current dedicated product webpage, but the installation/owner's manual should be treated as final for operation.

Important Electrical Specification Note

Fire Magic's dedicated EL-3285 product page and induction sales sheet specify:

1,800 Watts / 15 Amps / 120V 60Hz. 

However, the current Fire Magic catalog has an internally inconsistent line stating a 120VAC / 30 AMP minimum circuit for this induction cooktop. 

Because the dedicated manufacturer product page and dedicated induction specification sheet both state 15 amps, I would not use the catalog's 30-amp figure as the product's rated current. For installation requirements, the current EL-3285 owner's manual and applicable electrical code should take precedence.
