The HPC Fire 49" x 8" Linear Interlink Pan Insert with Electronic High/Low Ignition and Bluetooth App is a professional-grade burner system for custom outdoor fire features. It uses a 49-inch by 8-inch interlink pan, a torpedo burner, and electronic flame sensing with hot surface ignition for reliable startup, adjustable flame control, and a clean linear flame presentation. HPC identifies the EI Linear Interlink series as CSA certified, for outdoor use only, and suitable for commercial and residential use.
Constructed from 304 stainless steel, this insert is built for outdoor durability and corrosion resistance. HPC’s EI Linear Interlink drawing lists the 49" x 8" model at 150,000 BTU with a 7-3/4 inch depth dimension. The same drawing also states that Hi/Lo models have a 40% reduction in BTU on the low setting.
This series uses electronic High/Low ignition with Bluetooth app control. HPC’s Hi/Lo manual states that a wall switch is required for safety shutoff, and that Bluetooth technology allows operation with the supplied remote control or a smartphone or tablet. HPC also states that installation and service should be handled by a qualified installer, service agency, or gas supplier.
These variants are available in both Natural Gas and Liquid Propane. HPC lists Natural Gas supply pressure at 3.5" to 7.0" W.C. and LP supply pressure at 8.0" to 11.0" W.C. HPC also states that the EI series must use fixed piping systems only and is not for use with small LP tanks.
For power, HPC specifies 120VAC or 24VAC for this series. For 24VAC models, HPC requires a Class II 24VAC, 4-amp, 100W transformer and notes that performance can be affected if the power supply is below 100W or if the wire size is too small. HPC also says that electronic applications should use a GFCI-protected circuit.
