This exact configuration operates on Natural Gas and features a factory-installed infrared burner in the left main-burner position, allowing intense direct heat for searing while retaining the versatility of the Aurora grilling platform.

The A540i provides a 30" × 18" primary cooking surface with 540 square inches of grilling space, plus a 30" × 8" warming rack with 240 square inches. Fire Magic rates the A540i main-burner platform at 63,000 BTU and equips it with Diamond Sear stainless steel cooking grids for efficient heat transfer and searing performance.

This 8L configuration combines two distinct infrared cooking systems. The factory-installed infrared burner occupies the left main-burner position for direct searing, while the separate rear infrared backburner works with the included rotisserie system. Fire Magic's current catalog rates the A540i backburner at 11,000 BTU when equipped.
