Achieve the ideal installation height for your Bromic gas heater with the Bromic Gas Heater Mounting Pole, designed for compatible Platinum Smart-Heat® Gas and Tungsten Smart-Heat® Gas heaters.

Available in multiple lengths to accommodate a variety of ceiling heights, these mounting poles allow compatible Bromic gas heaters to be suspended from overhead structures while maintaining a clean, professional installation.

Bromic recommends positioning the bottom of the heater approximately 8 to 9 feet above the floor for optimal heating performance. Selecting the appropriate mounting pole helps bring the heater down from higher ceilings and beams to achieve the recommended operating height.

The mounting system can also accommodate pitched ceilings. The adjustment at the mounting point allows the pole to remain completely vertical even when attached to an angled ceiling.

Important: These mounting poles are intended for Bromic's built-in Platinum and Tungsten Gas heater collections.

They should not be confused with accessories for the Tungsten Freestanding Gas heater.

Choosing the Correct Pole Length

Bromic recommends positioning the bottom of the heater approximately 8–9 feet above the floor for optimal effective heating height.

When determining the appropriate pole length, account for:

Floor-to-ceiling or floor-to-beam height
Selected mounting pole length
Heater and bracket height
Required installation clearances

Bromic lists the combined heater and bracket height as 16.6 inches when calculating the finished mounting height.

Always follow the applicable Bromic installation manual and clearance requirements.

Pitched Ceiling Installation

The mounting system can accommodate suitable pitched ceilings; however, the pole itself must remain completely vertical.

Do not install the pole at an angle. The adjustment at the ceiling mounting point is designed to compensate for the ceiling pitch so the pole can drop vertically.
