The Hand Carved Solid Travertine Fire Pit is a singular vessel of stone, commissioned by Cooke and shaped from one block of travertine. It is not assembled from panels or veneers. It is carved, then finished by hand, so the surface keeps the quiet irregularity of the material itself—pits, tool marks, and the warm mineral color that only real stone carries.

At 48 inches in diameter and 15 inches high, it sits low in the landscape. The fire is fully adjustable to 100,000 BTU and can be specified for propane or natural gas. The burner is built in 304 stainless steel or brass, with a non-whistling stainless gas line and brass fittings throughout. An optional polished finish and optional brass jet burner are available for those who want a more refined edge or a more architectural flame.

Because each pit is carved from solid stone, no two are identical.
