The HPC 18" SST Torpedo Square Flat Fire Pit Insert is part of HPC’s CSA Certified Square Flat Inserts collection. This series is offered in 18", 24", 30", 36", and 42" standard sizes, and this specific configuration is set up as an 18-inch square flat insert with Electronic Ignition On/Off, 12" Torpedo Penta burner, and Liquid Propane fuel.

The Penta Burner is fitted with precision torpedo nozzles — engineered to throw taller, livelier, more muscular flames that dance like a real wood fire, minus the smoke, sparks, and cleanup.

Constructed from 304 stainless steel, the insert is designed for outdoor durability and corrosion resistance. The square bowl design supports decorative media and helps create a clean finished appearance in stone, concrete, or metal fire pit builds.

For the 18-inch torpedo version, the rated heat output is approximately 90,000 BTU. The insert is CSA certified in the US and Canada and is designed for outdoor gas fire pit installations using either natural gas or liquid propane, with this specific version configured for propane.
