The HPC Fire 121" x 8" Linear Interlink Pan Insert with Electronic Hi/Lo Ignition is a professional-grade burner system designed for custom outdoor fire features. This configuration uses a 121-inch by 8-inch interlink pan, a torpedo burner, and electronic flame sensing with hot surface ignition, making it a strong fit for long, linear fire pit designs that need reliable ignition and a clean, continuous flame presentation. HPC identifies the EI Linear Interlink series as CSA certified, for outdoor use only, and suitable for commercial and residential use.
Constructed from 304 stainless steel, this insert is built for outdoor durability and corrosion resistance. HPC’s EI Linear Interlink drawing also notes that Hi/Lo models have a 40% reduction in BTU on the low setting. For the 121" x 8" size, the drawing lists a 300,000 BTU rating and a 7-3/4 inch depth dimension in the chart.
This series uses Bluetooth Hi/Lo flame control. HPC’s Hi/Lo manual states that a wall switch is required for safety shutoff, while Bluetooth technology allows use with the supplied remote control or a compatible smartphone or tablet. The same manual also states that the EI Series is intended for outdoor use only.
These four variants are available in both Natural Gas and Liquid Propane, and in both 120VAC and 24VAC power options. HPC lists Natural Gas supply pressure at 3.5" to 7.0" W.C. and LP supply pressure at 8.0" to 11.0" W.C. HPC also states that the EI Series must use permanent fixed piping and is not for use with small tanks.
For power, HPC specifies 120 VAC – 1 amp for 120VAC models. For 24VAC models, HPC requires a Class II 24VAC, 4-amp, 100W transformer, and notes that performance can be affected if the power supply is below 100W or the wire size is too small. HPC also says all electronic applications should use a GFCI-protected circuit.
