The HPC Fire 36" Linear Trough Fire Pit Insert with Match Lit Ignition is a professional-grade burner system for custom outdoor fire features. With a 36-inch linear trough pan, torpedo burner, and liquid propane fuel, it is well suited for narrow rectangular fire pit designs that need simple manual lighting and a defined linear flame presentation.

Constructed from 304 stainless steel, this insert is built for outdoor durability and corrosion resistance. HPC’s match-lit linear trough drawing identifies the MLFPK linear trough pan series as a match-lit fire pit insert line and notes 304 stainless steel construction.

This model uses match-lit ignition with manual lighting. HPC’s match-lit installation manual describes the operating sequence as opening the valve, lighting the burner with a match or lighter, and then adjusting flame height as desired.

For the 36-inch linear trough version, the rated heat output is 65,000 BTU. HPC’s ready-to-finish trough reference specifically lists the insert model TOR-MLFPK36-TRGH at 65K BTU, and the CSA certificate includes MLFPK36-TRGH among the certified match-lit fire pit models.
