The HPC Fire 48" Linear Trough Fire Pit Insert with Electronic On/Off Ignition is a professional-grade burner system for custom outdoor fire features. With a 48-inch linear trough pan, torpedo burner, 120VAC power, and liquid propane fuel, it is well suited for narrow rectangular fire pit designs that need dependable ignition and a defined linear flame presentation.

Constructed from 304 stainless steel, this insert is built for outdoor durability and corrosion resistance. HPC’s linear trough drawing lists the EI Linear Trough series for commercial and residential use and for outdoor use only.

This model features electronic On/Off ignition with flame sensing and electronic hot surface ignition. HPC’s On/Off manual states that use of a wall switch is required for safety shutoff, with optional remote control, and that installation and service should be handled by a qualified installer, service agency, or gas supplier.

This 120VAC version is configured for liquid propane and rated at 150,000 BTU. HPC lists LP gas supply pressure at 8" to 11" W.C. and states that the unit is for use with fixed piping systems only and not for use with small tanks.
